What data we collect and why
When you use the contact form we ask for your name and a description of what you need; naming the project is optional. Email is required only if you send the enquiry directly from the form, since it is the only way to reply to you. We use that information only to understand your inquiry and respond to you.
How your message reaches us
We don't store your message on any server of our own. If you send the enquiry directly from the form ("Send enquiry"), it passes through Web3Forms, a form delivery service that forwards it to our Gmail inbox (Google); both process it under their own terms. If you choose WhatsApp, it opens on your device with the message ready and you decide whether to send it; WhatsApp (Meta) then processes it. If you choose "Send email", your email program opens with the message ready, and your email provider and ours (Google) process it.
How long we keep the data
We keep the conversation for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and, if it becomes a project, for the length of the working relationship. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Technical data, cookies and analytics
Only if you accept in the cookie notice, the website uses Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to measure visits and interactions in aggregate (pages viewed, chosen language, contact clicks, enquiries sent and projects opened; never the text you type in the form) so we can improve the site. To do so it sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, and Google processes that data under its own terms; retention is the period configured in Google Analytics. If you don't accept, those cookies aren't set and no measurements are sent. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page. The website also stores three preferences in your browser: your chosen language, the last project you opened in the portfolio, and your cookie choice; none of them leaves your device. The hosting provider may log technical connection data, such as IP address, for security and operational purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to darviastudio@gmail.com.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and indicate the date of the last revision.
