What we set out to do
A grid of photos does not set anyone apart. The challenge was a gallery people remember, where every piece is still easy to find.
Kuro Atelier is a studio demo, designed, developed, and deployed by DARVIA: it is not a client commission and does not prove commercial results.
What we built
A portfolio for a creative brand with a 3D gallery you walk through like an exhibition. The animations are there to show off the work, not to get in the way of navigation.

Key technical decision
The WebGL gallery loads on demand and degrades to a 2D grid on devices without 3D support: the brand never loses its content to visitor hardware.
What you can check and what is outside the scope
You can check
The 3D gallery, portfolio navigation and the 2D alternative on devices without WebGL support.
Project limits
This is a creative brand demo. The visual experience does not establish commissions or commercial results for a real brand.
What it demonstrates
3D can sell a brand too, with clear navigation and a 2D version for phones that cannot run it.
The technology behind the project
- React 18
- Three.js
